We would like to take a few minutes of your time by letting you
know about some exciting and important changes taking place. Fivestarhost has recently been engaged with other leaders in the hosting, development, and IT communities to form a powerful strategic alliance. Fivestarhost is being rebranded as DataViking to provide a better overall service for its clients. We are maintaining the goal of making the current business processes more efficient and user friendly. There will not be any cuts to personnel, package features, support, or any other areas that will diminish the value of our services. In fact, we will be adding personnel, hardware, and a multitude of new and improved services thanks to a healthy new alliance and infusion of capital.
Angel Anderson, lead sales agent and developer for Fivestarhost will be stepping as regional director and vp of sales and marketing. Greg Landis, Chief Executive Officer, said "I am very excited about the advances in the coming months for DataViking and believe clients will benefit the most with additional support means, and a culmination of new technologies. This is only made possible with the formation of this new alliance which is also a positive move for all of Fivestarhost".
Some of the immediate changes to take place are increased disk space and bandwidth for current packages. Other changes include the addition of live chat support and a phone number where we can be reached for any sales or billing questions. Hardware and service wise we are making great strides towards deploying a new failover high availability product for our clients as well. There is much more planned so just stay tuned for any future announcements.
As a result as of March 1, 2008 all Fivestarhost credit card charges, bills, invoices, support lines, and branding materials will be listed as DataViking instead of Fivestarhost.
